Since these brownies have lesser fat than the original recipe of brownies, I believe that all of us can indulge in its chocolaty goodness.

It seems a bit dry, but I am sure that it would taste as great as moist brownies. I personally like my brownies to be moist, but I have tried this recipe, and I think that it still tastes as good.


500g whole raw beetroot (3-4 medium beets)
100g unsalted butter , plus extra for the tin
200g bar plain chocolate (70% cocoa)
1 tsp vanilla extract
250g golden caster sugar
3 eggs
100g plain flour
25g cocoa powder
